About the artwork
Standing at the edge of the ocean, the sense of scale became impossible to ignore — vast, constant, alive. Against it, human presence feels brief and fragile, more like that of a visitor than an owner. This work grew from that realization: that we move across this world leaving marks far larger than we understand, and with that comes responsibility. While questions of destruction, building, and conflict surfaced, the ocean continued — rising and falling, indifferent yet steady, reminding me that nature was never ours to fix or to break.
