Shipping Policy

Thank you for supporting my work.

Because I offer both fine art prints and original paintings, shipping varies depending on the type of artwork you've purchased. Please review the information below.

Fine Art Prints

All fine art prints are fulfilled and shipped from Canada in collaboration with Tricera Print Studio.

Each order is carefully packaged in a sturdy shipping tube with branded packaging to help ensure it arrives safely.

Estimated Delivery Times

Once your order has been fulfilled, estimated delivery times are:

Canada: 1–2 weeks
USA: 2–3 weeks
Europe: 3–4 weeks
Other regions: up to 4 weeks

These are estimated delivery times based on standard shipping.

If you need your order by a specific date, please email hello@irahavuka.ca before placing your order with your full shipping address, and we'll provide a quote for expedited shipping, if available.

Original Paintings

Original paintings require custom shipping arrangements and are handled separately from print orders.

Shipping Quotes

Shipping costs for original paintings are not calculated at checkout.

Because every painting differs in size, weight, destination, and packaging requirements, shipping is quoted individually.

After your order is placed, we'll obtain a shipping quote from a professional art shipping company and send it to you for approval.

If you choose not to proceed after receiving the shipping quote, your order will be cancelled and refunded, less any non-refundable payment processing fees or transaction fees incurred at the time of purchase.

Once you've approved the shipping quote, the shipping cost will be invoiced separately. Payment can be made via PayPal or Interac e-Transfer (for Canadian customers).

Once payment for shipping has been received, your painting will be prepared for shipment.

Processing Time

Unframed Original Paintings

Unframed original paintings are typically shipped within 3–5 business days after payment for shipping has been received.

Framed Original Paintings

Frames are custom-made after your order is placed.

Please allow approximately 7–10 additional business days for framing before your painting is shipped.

Packaging & Insurance

Every original painting is professionally packed to provide the highest level of protection during transit.

All original paintings are shipped with insurance.

Packaging methods may vary depending on the artwork and destination.

Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you'll receive a tracking number by email.

Duties & Taxes

All orders are shipped from Canada.

International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, customs fees, brokerage fees, or other charges required by their country.

Delayed Shipments

Once a package reaches the destination country and is transferred to the local carrier, tracking updates and delivery times are outside of our control.

For international shipments, we recommend contacting your local courier directly for the most accurate delivery updates.

Returned Shipments

If a shipment cannot be delivered because it wasn't collected, the shipping address was incorrect, or the package is returned to sender for any other reason:

Within Canada: We can re-ship your order, but additional shipping charges will apply.
International orders: Returned shipments are often not sent back to Canada and may be disposed of by the local carrier or customs. In these cases, we cannot offer a replacement or refund, and a new order would need to be placed.

Damaged Shipments

If your package arrives damaged, please:

Take clear photos of the unopened package.
Take photos of any damage to the artwork after opening.
Email the photos to hello@irahavuka.ca within 24 hours of delivery.

We'll review the damage and work with the shipping provider to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. For original paintings, an approved claim will result in a full refund of the purchase price. As every original painting is one of a kind, it cannot be replaced.

Additional Information

As of September 2025, our shipping carrier applies a $2 USD brokerage fee to shipments entering the United States.

This fee applies only to U.S. orders and does not affect shipments to other destinations.
