There comes a moment when you know it’s time to stop looking back. This piece marks that point — the decision to let the past go and move forward without expecting anything to return, knowing that what once shaped you no longer needs to define you.

There’s grief in it, yes, but also clarity.  The acceptance that memories will always stay, yet they no longer carry weight. Creating this work felt like placing a period at the end of a long sentence — an ending that gently makes space for something new.

It’s a calm kind of closure, the kind that doesn’t need words. Just the quiet understanding that what’s over is over, and that peace begins here.
