Having Fun Is Also Okay!

For a long time, I thought being serious made me “grown-up.” Made me strong. But somewhere along the way, I forgot that joy is strength too.

The realization came during a day that went hilariously wrong in Tenerife — a broken sandal, a walk downhill through rain and mud, ABBA playing from a tiny speaker, and laughter that left us in tears. Everything was messy and imperfect — and somehow, it was exactly what I needed.

This painting is a reminder to myself — and maybe to you too — that it’s okay to be light and carefree. Having fun is also okay. Your inner child deserves to be heard.
